A piano is heavy, delicate and worth more than most furniture put together. An upright can weigh 200–300 kg with its full weight in an awkward, top-heavy cabinet; a slate pool table is heavier still and has to be dismantled correctly or the slate cracks. These are not jobs for two mates and a ute — they're the moves where professional equipment and technique earn their keep.
For pianos, we use piano trolleys, skids and ramps, protective padding for the cabinet and keys, and a crew sized for the instrument — uprights, baby grands and grands are each handled differently. Stairs, tight hallways and polished floorboards are all planned before we lift anything.
Pool tables are dismantled the right way: cloth and cushions protected, slate pieces removed and transported flat, frame and legs wrapped separately. At the new home we reassemble and make sure the table sits level. Safes, arcade machines and other heavy specialty items are quoted the same way — tell us what it is and we'll bring the right gear.

Slate tables must be dismantled: cushions and cloth protected, slates removed and carried flat, frame wrapped. We reassemble and level the table at your new home. Moving one assembled damages the slate and the table.
